Hier ist ein Metal-Juwel aus Portugal. Melodisch, treibend und einfach gut. Uns waren In Solitude nur als Supportband unserer Freunde von Stratovarius bekannt. Ein Versäumnis, dass jetzt schnellstens nachgeholt werden wird.

Das vorliegende Album besticht durch lauter hitverdächtig konzertante Melodiebögen. Teilweise sehr melodisch aber ohne bombastisch zu wirken. Eine herrliche Gitarre begleitet die tolle Stimme von Sergio Martins. Passender Chorgesang unterstützt das Ganze. Was mir bei Rhapsody zu überladen ist, kommt hier flüssig und erstklassig rüber. Ich traue mich kaum Anspieltipps zu geben. Man kann das Album wirklich am Stück genießen.

Grandios ist aber das Werk Journey through the black hole! Das kann wirklich mit allen anderen Metalhits mithalten. Was mich hier außerdem jubeln lässt ist der Einfallsreichtum der Band. Es kommt einfach keine Langeweile auf! Die Band muss unbedingt hier mal live auf den großen Festivals spielen. Alles andere wäre grob fahrlässig! Fazit: High End Metal.

Here is a metal jewel from Portugal. Melodic, forcing and simply good. We knew In Solitude only as a support band from our friends Stratovarius. A mistake we will erase now.

This album caught me with a bunch of hit sounding melodies with concertal influences. But they are not bombastic. A heavenly guitar swings with the superb voice of Sergio Martins. Choirs are supporting this all at it\'s best. There is not to much orchestral bombardment like Rhapsody. Everything is floating and first class. I really have my difficulties to name a few tips to play. You can enjoy the CD in a whole piece.

Tremendous is the track Journey through the black hole! It will not loose the competition with all metalfaves. What makes me gladly scream is the mass of good ideas of the band. You\'ll never get bored. It is necessary that In Solitude must play here at big festivals. If not-it would be a crime against all true metal fans. Really high end metal!
